Abstract

Compensation is expenses and costs for companies to appreciate the performance of their employees. Motivation is a condition or action that encourages someone to do a job. Employee Performance is the result of work that achieved by individuals in accordance with their roles and duties. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of compensation and work motivation on employee performance in PDAM Tirta Bumi Wibawa, Sukabumi. This research is a descriptive study with data collection techniques through questionnaire distribution. Data collection starts from May until July 2019 with the subject of research is the results of a questionnaire with a sample of 60 people. Validity test has a correlation value above 0.325 so it is said to be valid, the reliability of test is 0.836, the normality of test is 0.200 with a significant value Ho accepted, the multicollinearity test there is no multicollinarity between the independent variables in the regression model, heteroscedarsity test is known to have no symptoms of heteroscedarsity or similarity Regression fulfills the assumptions of non heteroskedarsititas, multiple linear regression test has a positive effect, the T test shows the results of H1 and H2, accepted, the F test shows the results simultaneously H3 is accepted. So, compensation and motivation of work in PDAM Tirta Bumi Wibawa affects toward employee performance.
